From what I gather, the crypto fanatics are necessarily looking to turn a quick buck. It's about having money that a government can't touch

Good luck with that. Trading crypto is already taxed

10,758.00 currently. As long as the value of crypto is remotely as volatile as it is now it will NEVER be a mainstream currency. It will be a speculatory investment or a medium or a medium for quick turnaround short term conversion and movements of illicit/shady money or used to quickly and cheaply move money around the world to be quickly liquidated again.
This is exactly the point. You cannot use something so volatile as an investment vehicle in any way. It’s day trading at its best.
And blockchains are not as secure as they were once thought to be. This one was caused by a power outage. I love the idea behind bitcoin, but it’s far too unreliable to base any real part of an economy off of.

No, I did not come at it from that stance, you’re just looking to be upset at something. Bitcoin is a shite show of stability, that’s the point.

Well so is “bitcoin is back”. No evidence of this being anything but a pump and dump right now

Yes! I knew someone would get it. And congrats on that tongue. Six Flags way back was great.

Well at this point, that's dumb.
Maybe, but McAfee predicted the upturn and the current down. Says it's gonna climb back even higher. I don't know what to believe but I would have sold by now.

And I’ll laugh back at you the next day when it plunged again because a hamster jumped off the wheel.
