chrome has a couple of free plug ins, 'honey' finds the best amazon deal and 'wikibuy' finds the best deal from any online seller for the same product

I agree with OP. Just filter and sort your eBay search results to find the right seller and the right price. Many times an eBay seller will beat Amazon's price, with free shipping and no tax. Why would you pay tax on Amazon when you can use eBay, or Wayfair or Overstock etc, and pay no tax? Amazon is not as good of a deal as it used to be.

I've never had Prime but Amazon is just easier to shop for things than eBay. I don't care much got auctions and eBay's layout sucks.
