He had a storage unit with a bunch of drugs and a pill press. The unit was set to auto pay and it got messed up. When they cut the locks off they found everything and arrested him

Here's a novel idea, claim it all and pay what is due. You had nothing in the first place, so no real loss and no need to worry about getting caught for tax fraud.
