A 3.5 will out perform your 5.0 every day of the week

No, no it will not. I bought the truck to last, not to race. Blow that up someone else's arse

Yes it will. There isn't much difference for the money you will save. But do yourself a favor and by s Chevy....

In two minutes of searching I found a brand new 2016 XLT 3.5 4wd for $38,800:
2016 F-150 XLT 4WD, 3.5, $38,758

I don't "race" but that's certainly outperforming. Also, will tow much better than a 5.0 and that's a fact.

Fine, enjoy your rebuild in less than 100K miles while my 5.0 rolls for 200k and change. I've owned both, don't be fooled with the hype

So you've put 100k on an eco and 200k on a 5.0?
You sound that convinced
I don't know which one will last longer, but what makes you so sure about your opinion?

Then you're on very thin ice

Where are all of these rebuilt ecoboosts?
Seems like I'd hear more about it

Yes, and one 4.6 which is the biggest piece of shite engine ever. I drive a lot because of my job, I put 50k miles a year on a vehicle and I need a truck. 5.0 has by far been the most reliable for me, and I realize opinions vary. I'm speaking from my own experience

My main concern with the Econoost (along with the longevity of the motor) is hauling distance. When I pull my boat it's sometimes for over an hour.
