Yea. My company won't cover trips over 125 miles RT on my own car. So I rent. Got 32 rentals on national this year

I've been doing multiple trips a month for nearly 6 years. It's wearing me down so I think being home a good bit next month will be nice. What's weird is I get antsy after about 10 days of not flying even though I complain about flying

Yea, the rental car place is far and I can't leave my vehicle there. I have to get dropped off and picked up, that sucks.

You don't have an enterprise nearby? And they can pick you up and bring you home.

The one I use has a fenced in lot so I usually just leave my truck there.

I usually rent a vehicle as well when it's pretty far. I like to drive like an a-hole going 85 while head banging to my spotify

Same. But I've flown 3 of the last 4 weeks so I'm glad to be back home for a few weeks

I have a shitload on enterprise. I used some points recently and think I still have around 7 or 8k in points to use. I'm whatever highest level they have because I rent vehicles pretty much every time I travel.

Our corporate rate makes it economical at this point. And I use my emerald club account with my enterprise rentals

7 hours, but I can work on my way to places

When bringing the family, 11 hours is my cut off.

Why is it always the three of us that hijack the shite out of these threads?

Us 3 and then a few others I've noticed that have had a travel lifestyle in the past

Golfer: I'm thinking of switching to Marriott...what's your thoughts? I feel like you did this a while back. Like it? Seems like Hilton's point system has just steadily gone downhill. I just don't know what Marriott's are like comparatively across the country in terms of how nice they are and benefits.

I actually like driving. Gives me some good alone time, & just download Rome or Van Pelt shows from the week to listen to while driving.

I write this while sitting alone at an Extended Stay.

I've always been with Marriott. They have been devaluing their program too but apparently not as quick as Hilton.

I think Marriott has better low-end properties, Hilton has better mid-tier, and Marriott has better high end/resorts.
