Are most bus drivers contracted companies rather than hired and operated directly by the school district?

Seems so

Bus drivers drive faster than me, and that's saying a lot. I had to call the school board multiple times when I lived in Southdowns about them going 50mph down my street and locking up the brakes at every stop sign

Local control of schools would solve these problems.

He had no business being a bus driver but much of this blame should fall on the company itself. He was riddled with complaints and had been in an accident driving a bus as recently as September 20th of this year. If you keep sending that guy out there every day, the majority of the fault should fall in your lap.

Of course the company shouldn't have let him drive, but regardless it was his actions. He isn't getting off for his own actions, he fricked up, he killed children, he needs to die in a horrible, painful, way that an idiot like him can understand.

I was actually under the impression that most places consider it part time work and as a result the benefits suck. It also requires odd hours so working another job is difficult.

Another misunderstood young man that has suffered through years of Tennessee white power. Only possible explanation.
