Cutting through those cars was the icing on the cake. Bus driver must have been tired of the little retards on board and wanted to drop them off.

I’ve see bus drivers do way worse than this quite often. Nothing wrong with what he/she did there

Going over a submerged bridge makes it a little more dangerous but no harm no foul. Dude has a schedule to keep.

Fox News reporting the driver has been removed from the job pending investigation.

which means the water is probably very close to the exhaust pipe, genius.

That guy (or girl) absolutely deserves to be fired. Water was running, not standing, there was a drop off the other side. The risk/reward ratio is so out of whack on that move it's not even funny.

Exhaust pipe can be submerged, the intake is what you have to worry about.

I hate every person in those Twitter comments. Like the bus driver doesn't drive that exact route every single day. He knows how deep the water is and probably has crossed water there before. God I hate people.

Yeah, because no one has ever misjudged the power of moving water before. And in this case the person does so with a bunch of other people's kids. This person is an idiot and should have been fired already.

Why take the risk with other people's children aboard? An idiot bus driver did this earlier this year at a low water crossing in Texas. The bus got swept away and they had to rescued. The driver is lucky him or the kid weren't killed. The bus driver got arrested as he should have.

Yup.

And here's another way to think about it. Of the following, which would have said "it's ok, go ahead and drive through it...I'm sure it's fine"?

The other drivers not driving through it
The bus driver's boss
The local police
The school principal
The kid's parents
