Of course, just like the school officer who was fired for flipping the girl out of her desk, there is only a video with no context as to what brought the incident on.

Our young people are well versed in popping out the cell phone to video anything that might contain conflict, while not doing anything to stop it or prevent it.

What context would be needed to absolve him?

Trying to remove him from the bus? He was being assaulted?

Neither of those look to the the case from the video.

He gone. Good riddance.

I for one am fine with millenials videoing instead of stepping in. A video gets the fricker fired. Someone stepping in gets a he said/she said and the a-hole may or may not keep his job.

I'm pretty sure what brought it on was a 51 year old dick being a bus driver.

I wonder what special needs the kid has. I wouldn't be surprised if his disability is ADD. Just the way the media spins stuff. Otherwise I have no opinion.

The driver looks to be a sizeable guy and the kids look like they're younger/middle school aged. And mostly girls. I can't really blame them for not stepping in.

Based on the video context it looks like the driver assaulted the girl. As you said, we obviously don't know what led to it but it's not a stretch to see in the video that she wasn't a threat (unless there was a weapon we couldn't see). We'll see what comes out though and go from there.

As far as what disability she might have, we have moderate to high functioning autistic kids who ride mainstreams buses along with some MMD (mild/mid mental disability) and EBD (emotional behavioral disability). And of course your OHI (other health impaired) group too. So there's no telling what kind of disability the kid has.

I like that one little kid standing up, he is not backing down at all.

What an a-hole. No other context needed, a bus driver can't assault his passengers.

Or a crazy check recipient. In other words, a normal kid with fricked-up parents.
