Throw away ticket

Park in private parking lots or if you park on the street take plate off while you're out and about.

Or just get a new plate, I just take mine off though. Takes 1 min to do it.

I just don't speed. I don't like paying tickets. Waste of money. OP is lucky it was a camera ticket. The fines for speeding in school zones in some places are hideous amounts.

No, camera tickets dont show up on driving record. Only shows up if you got the ticket from an actual cop.

I work in insurance and if you got a speeding ticket, its unlikely your insurance company would even find out about it before it fell off your record unless you switched to a new policy/company or got into a wreck. Insurance company only gets info about driving record when they run MVR reports from DMV (which cost about $18 per driver for insurance companies to get those reports), so they tend to obtain those reports sparingly. Usually only for a brand new policy or if you caused a wreck.

$75 fine in Orleans? Pay it and just get it over with unless you feel like risking having your car booted next time you park in the city and costing a whole lot more money and time dealing with getting boot taken off.

I bought a new truck and the fines did not go to my new truck or the old truck that my son owns now, fines are tag spefic.

A friend of mine got towed because of excessive fines, so don't let them accumulate on a car you want to keep a while.
