my first year going. I have my bracelet already, but can you buy a ticket upon entrance just for the day? asking for a freind

You need to preorder tickets online.
There is no probably not going to be a "buy at door" option because it will most likely be sold out before the fest starts, almost guarenteed. (As it was last year). The only hope buying it outside the door is if someone is selling their ticket in person, which isn't worth the risk.

Whatever you do, make sure you wear a neon hat and an NBA jersey or you won't be admitted.

Different strokes for different folks. Not my thing but I'm ways impressed with the ticket sales.
I bet most of these attendees would think it would be hell on earth to attend bayou country fest.
