Why isn't this promoted I wonder? Almost every type of cleaning is done with hot water due to its ability to break down dirt and scum. I would assume the same is true on your teeth no?

Does anyone brush their teeth with hot water?

I wipe my butt with really cold baby wipes sometimes. Should I microwave them first?

well, I use warm water. no fluoride toothpaste [ poison ] read the label if you don't believe me.

I also use coconut oil and an electric oral b round spinner brush to clean...works pretty damn good.

Well colors so they won't bleed, but if you're doing that with whites that's pretty dumb. Good luck getting stains out with cold water.

I do, but it's because years back I began brushing my teeth while I showered. Now even if I brush at the sink I use warm water because I'm used to it.

Temperature of the water, below a certain threshold is primarily for comfort on the skin or during a bath/shower. There is no evidence that "hot" tap water is better at cleaning than.

In fact, because of dissolved contaminants coming out of your hot water system, you're probably better off NOT putting hot water from the tap in your mouth. Ditto for cleaning. It is counter-intuitive, but true.

I thought about it while I was washing dishes this morning, and how much easier it is to wash dishes with hot water. It just seems logical.

I microwave my floss for 30 seconds before using and then for a minute afterwards.

I gargle with bleach (half strength).

Happy now?
