Old days a baton and we used larger ones at night would have gotten his attention.

My first reaction is, perp got what he deserved for acting an arse and resisting arrest. I don't care what's your skin color...you don't comply to law enforcement's commands, you deserve what comes next.
What does bug me is how the public reacts to these incidents simply due to the color of skin. Had this been a black perp and a white cop punched the perp in the head after the cuffs were on we'd have a mob of activists and maybe Al "not so" Sharpton would beeline to city hall in protest.
Get woke, black folks! It's about the value of human life, all human life, not just black lives!

There are always panhandlers at that corner and around that race trac. They removed the tables they had out there to try to get rid of them.
