I am pretty sure that I stated that I deduced that from his comments based on the information he gave.
You stated deduced only after you were called out for misstating.

Never said that he said that.
Well, here's you direct quote in this thread:
quote:
According to the guy in law enforcement in this thread, he was going so fast and reckless that he lost control of his vehicle when he and the other car changed lanes at the same time. Cars changing lanes at the same time happens all the time, without incident, due to people driving at a manageable enough speed to a avoid disaster.
You directly said that according to the guy in law enforcement, he was going fast and reckless. So yeah, you did say that.

Except, I would call it "common sense" on most all driving, something that isn't being doled out too much these days.
Well, we know how much that is lacking these days, unfortunately.

Why is everyone on here so quick to blame the driver
You might want to re-read this thread. I see few people quick to blame the driver. The only ones blaming anyone on limited info are those blaming the cop. Others have suggested the cop might be to blame, but based on the limited information provided so far, impossible to know yet.

he likely scenario is the other car was switching lanes to get out of the cops way and the cop switched lanes to try to and go around.
.
Why? because the driver wasn't getting out of the way. I swear this board is retarded. Always talking about how shitty drivers are in BR yet can't fathom that someone probably didn't yield to an oncoming police car so the police car had to go around him...that is the most logical scenario. Had the driver yielded earlier there would have not been a wreck.

well, to be fair, the driver probably had something really important to text someone at the time so he may not have seen the cop approaching.

I respect anyone that steps back and acknowledges they might have misspoken. Not seen often in here.

also it was 1 am. the driver in left lane probably wasn't even passing anyone...so should he have even been in the left lane?
Posted on 3/21/17 at 1:17 pm to Funky Tide 8
Nice,, I seriously had rather go through life being a douche and or bag, than a complete ignorant dumbass that can't read, reason or fricking think past their nose.

This is a very good point no one has talked about. Unless he was passing another vehicle, it was actually illegal for the other driver to be driving in the left (passing) lane. Thus, if not passing, in the very least, the other driver would have some comparative negligence, however small the percentage.
