Maybe so, but if you are referring to Pesticide, you just can't openly admit to being BRPD and post some of the stuff that he did without attracting some attention from someone.

When you hire a guy from State Police to be chief, guess what—-he does like they do at State Pooice. If anything has come to light over the last 4-5 years, it’s that State Police is infected with politics and decisions based upon politics. Paul was part of that regime and only survived bc Broom hired him before the completion of the Las Vegas trip investigation. Paul is cheesing it up in the same Las Vegas picture as everyone else who got “caught”. It’s all about being political friends with the Colonel or in this case the Chief.

Sgt Kuhn was fired for posting some racist comments on TD. Yes, he was likely trying to find dirt on top union leaders but this has to do with the union putting up billboards. Ofc creel gave a interview about the billboards and is being fired for basically going against the regime.

It seems a bit political to me from the small amount of info they give.

It keeps getting worse. Witchhunt is real.
Creel does an interview and gets fired for "failure to comply with policy, procedures and departmental regulations."
Yet, Ardoin accepts and purchases stolen items, gets charged with criminal conspiracy and possession of stolen items, and his punishment is paid leave. I guess that doesn't go against "policy, procedures and departmental regulations."
frick this crooked city.

If The Advocate, WBRZ, or WAFB had an ounce of integrity, they would actually follow up this story in a week with investigative reporting. There's a lot to look at here -- the timing of this announcement following re-election, the inconsistencies in punishment given to Creel, and communications between Broome/Paul regarding the incident. Further, they should pick up where Kiran left off in investigating inaccuracies in reported homicide data.
This should all be done, but it won't. Why? Because these media outlets need to be investigated themselves. The Advocate pulling the homicide tracker in an election year. WAFB bending the knee to Broome/Paul and firing Kiran for investigating them. WBRZ doesn't question Broome as her former employer. We don't ever here the other side from our media.
I'm looking at Nakamoto. Nak reported yesterday on the BRPD officer receiving a slap on the wrist for essentially stealing a Charger at a response and taking it for a joyride. The punishment announced on the SAME DAY is inconsistent as it gets. We all know if Creel had talked with Kiran about how great of leaders Broome and Paul are, that video would have been clipped and placed on Broome's campaign ads instead of having him fired.

Broome had at least 6-7 female officers in full uniform participate in a campaign photo op. Did she fire them ?

Wasn’t Kiran Chawla canned from WAFB for not toeing the lib dick sucking line?

Any young person who applies at BRPD is an absolute idiot.

Keep digging yourselves into a deeper hole BRPD....there’s really no coming back from what you have done but good try.
“Social media policy is where the violation occurred,” said BRPD Sgt. L’Jean McKneely. “I’m not sure there was a social media policy in place at the time of those other union members when they did the interviews with tv. Now this interview was in a blog which put it in a different perspective and was placed on social media and not up for review through the normal channels that it would’ve possibly gone through.”
Guess the chief chose not to interview. I posted my piece to YouTube, I did, NOT Siya Creel but somehow BRPD is claiming they fired him for a social media violation that his interview was on social media and not tv. Ummmm every tv interview ends up online and eventually posted to social media. Seriously? Union executive members have never needed permission from the chief to speak to media. They’re independent of the department. Then to go further and say it’ll always be enforced? You want me to spell out for you when it’ll actually be enforced and when it won’t? Say the truth: You didn’t like him speaking to the person who called you out repeatedly on your double standards for discipline for officers, you know the same person you said had to apologize to you in order for you to interview with me. Making up the rules and making up policies as you go just because you got hurt is no way to run a police department. #notdroppingit
More from Kiran on Facebook. What a loss it was for our community when Kiran "stepped down" from WAFB.

He is the type of selfless person who did it because he wanted to make a difference, he actually cares about people and the community. Instead of trying to be a politician who says same things but doesn’t back it up, he decided to put his life at risk for doing something he believed in

Absolutely no coincidence - quit blaming New Orleans for Baton Rouge’s problems.

That’s how these Dems are operating these days. People need to call them out and raise hell. Sad thing is, the media is fully in-line with them. Aiding and abetting. Either writing propaganda spin pieces or hit pieces on their enemies, or just ignoring the misdeeds of their liberal politician overlords all together. It’s pathetic.

What started as hate for the app itself with the Advocate years ago turned to blinding hate because of the content of that junk rag. Then, when WAFB fired Kiran, I lost all respect for them also.
Baton Rouge media is absolute pond scum. Both Wafb and The Advocate are politized shite stains and anything 'reported' by them is local propaganda. Trash.
OT is for news, WAFB and The Advocate are for suckers. I'll read the Hayride because I like and trust their opinion but they are honest about the fact that they are editorials. WAFB and the Advocate try to 'play' news. frick them.

Seriously, if I am ever around any journalist from The Advocate and they even remotely act offended when someone calls out their liberal media bias, I’m going to crack up laughing in their face. They can take their laughable, supposed “journalism” and shove it up their asses. Just a Louisiana liberal propaganda rag, an arm of the state Democrat party.

I think it’s just young black kids... they just get more violent and crazier every year. I have even heard older black people say as much. They’re like, “these youngsters now days have no respect... no regard for life... I won’t even say anything to them cuz they’ll just shoot you these days.” Watch The First 48... episode after episode after episode of young black males in their communities all over the country murdering each other and committing horrific crimes almost for sport... quite often it is just for sport. It’s fricking sad and it will never change when you don’t hold them accountable and instead blame the systems that do try to hold them accountable or blame it on me because I have white skin that merely by its existence oppressed them to the point where they have no choice in life but to commit violent crime and murder.
