I've said this before. I can teach all but a complete idiot on how to not get killed during a police encounter. I can do this in under a minute. I can even do this if you are carrying a concealed weapon legally. I can even do this if you are concealing the weapon on your person during the encounter.
I can't teach someone to not get killed if they resist arrest and aren't compliant with lawful orders.

Stereotypes exist because of actions over a long period of time. They are not pulled out of thin air.

Same thing has happened to me but I guarantee this happens to blacks far more because of steriotypes of black men.
