Broward County PD shot up a ups truck in rush hour traffic after it was carjacked

A UPS robbery starting in Coral Gables, Florida in a jewelry store ends up deadly. Robbers came in and escaped by taking a UPS truck hostage. A high speed chase started and ended in Miramar, Florida in Broward County. Police for some reason decided to shoot up the truck in a traffic jam with innocent pedestrians all around and using their cars as shields. Not to mention they were shooting in to the truck with the UPS driver that was being held hostage. Everyone in the truck ended up dead. Our condolences to the families affected.
I feel real bad for the ups driver who was just doing his job and I just think the way the police handled that was terrible.

That whole police department can go frick themselves. I never seen a police department that out of control to put innocent lives in danger like that.

Hold the phone. Did jacker have a gun? Does anyone know if jacker shot at anyone, including the UPS driver? Did jacker kill the bystander?

Youre asking the wrong question.
Did the police officer feel afraid? If so the actions are legally justified.
That legal standard needs to change. I find it disturbing our soldiers and marines have stricter ROE than the cops in this country.

Its not even that.
This department let a kid shoot up a school. Yet, they feel the need to shoot up an interstate while chasing a UPS truck killing the driver and an innocent bystander in the process.
They need to wipe that department off the map and start over.
And Im not a cop hater. Its not like the truck was going to outrun them.

There are quite a few people, who were in those nearby cars, who are about to get paid. And those cops were dumb as shite.

Surprised it was just one. Way too many innocents around to light that truck up like that.
Hell the ROEs in Iraq and Afghanistan are tighter than that!
