Wearing your work uniform to your wedding is trashy and pathetic.

The replies in this 30 page thread shows that to many it’s downright offensive.

No they don't. Calling something weird or attention grabbing doesn't mean they think it's offensive.

No, it's not offensive. No one has suggested it was offensive in this thread.

I completely disagree. Reading some of the replies to this thread is blatantly obvious the idea of someone wearing their uniform to a wedding is abhorrent to many.

What if your wedding was at Wafflehouse and you were the cook?

Anyone ever seen someone in military dress at a Mardi Gras ball?

Oh jeez Darth.

Wearing a red tuxedo is abhorrent, but it's not offensive. Don't be so dramatic.

Why would it matter if they did?

I’m not being dramatic. If anything the people who are bothered by it are the ones being dramatic. Why let what someone else wears bother you? Especially if what they’re wearing has been accepted tradition for centuries.

So you’ve missed the posts where some were clearly bothered by someone wearing a uniform. That or you just do what you usually do and ignore anything that doesn’t fit whatever narrative you want to believe.

yes every year at Endymion...in fact the first Extravaganza I went to before becoming a rider I wore Army Mess Dress...women were hitting on me in front of my date!!!!

ran into a young Marine Gunnery Sergeant in blues and he told me that he wished he came without a date...

in fact there was a Marine Colonel in mess dress at the next table from me this year...

I never said you did. But let me ask you this, does this post I quoted earlier sound like someone who isn’t bothered...

A bunch of military folks thinking their shite dont stink in this thread. Why I have a issues with people that put them on a pedestal cause they dont need the extra boost with many, especially ones that didnt do jack, already up high enough in their own head. Same level of stupid arguments for the "right" to a store discount.

In years past, I've asked if they wanted me in uniform or not, most have said they would like me in uniform...

She’s not hating on the military she’s just needs all eyes on her and actually went that far! Never wore my uniform to a wedding even my own( and she was pissed I didn’t get the jacket in time) only funerals. No crazy bride to worry about.
