i beg to differ on the golf courses, should have never closed greenwood or howell park, they both were bringing in money,, some bean counter came in and said not enough profit. santa maria and beaver creek are way over played and has too much foot traffic to maintain quality, dont even get me started about webb park, what a joke, you couldnt even raise goats there, pitiful

Putting a traffic light on a road that half the people treat as an interstate and the other half treat as a residential neighborhood road seems like a terrible idea. How about just building another entrance/exit not leading out to Burbank?

I agree, a traffic signal there is a bad idea.
I recommend eliminating left hand turns when exiting.

There are no options other than Burbank and a couple of neighborhoods.

A lot of money for them to mow grass. Most of their leagues are mismanaged poop shows. They like to tout how awesome they are but it is average at best.

My wife played volleyball for years through the league and they crewed up teams and schedules constantly.

I played tennis for two years ad year three, they simply stopped sending out information and lost a large amount of player data - several teams missed the sign up process because apparently someone changed out the systems they used.

So?? BREC isn’t all about charging folks to use their facilities.

How people treat things and rules of the road are two separate things. You don't get to choose which law you can obey or ignore. When development comes to rural roads, sometimes you have to alter the rules of the road because - guess what? - it's not rural anymore.

That's part of the problem: People are attempting to enter a large sports complex and oncoming traffic is traveling at 70 mph (it's a 55 mph highway).

If traffic lights are so offensive, let's put up roundabouts there.

True, but it’s been proven that traffic signals lead to more accidents.

But yes the exits should be redesigned.

Take a look at your property tax notice and you will see that BREC funding exceed BRPD. That makes not sense. Where does all that money go?

Finally, people seem to be asking the right questions. Many places, where I live included, seem to be taking in more money than ever. Property taxes go up every year. Gas tax went up not long ago. A new tax of some kind seems to be on every ballot. They are taking in more money now than they ever have, but seem to be doing less than ever with it.

New tax? Tax renewal? Tax increase? You want me to vote for it? Nah, frick you. Show that you, as a government, are capable of managing the funds you do take in and I will consider it. I'm tired of the sob stories. I don't give a shite anymore. I will vote "No" for any and every tax that hits the ballot from now on.

Sure it’s their fault, there is no reason for Webb to be in bad shape.
