I know what he meant be that and agree with it. As much as they should kill them they will be professional and allow the courts to give him the death penalty
I'm sure that would make more sense if I was on the same drugs as you.

If I just murdered two men, there is no way I could run, I would probably just lay down and cry.

So, question for anyone with knowledge about this stuff...
When something major like this happens to a department the size of HPD, how do they keep tabs on the other areas of the city? They have a ton of their force at one or two sites, yet the rest of the city must be patrolled and calls answered. Do nearby agencies take some calls? Do they call up off-duty officers to go on-duty for the time behind? Does the state/sheriff take over the city?

Judging from the above pictures I'd guess the sheriff's office had a hand in it too.
ETA: they have 138 sworn and 108 non-sworn personnel.
ETA2: Looks like Lamar County brought bother of them in, they were booked at Highway Patrol troop J

The man believed to be Curtis Banks was escorted into Troop J from a Lamar County sheriff's car. No word yet as to where he was captured.

Hattiesburg has it's own PD. The city also falls within a few counties, and I want to say Lamar and Forrest County have PDs as well. It's actually a pretty quiet town besides the downtownish area where the shootings happened.

Issues like this. There will never be a troll here.
That is not a sad fact.

All of the above. Have gotten that call in the middle of the night. We go where we need to when we need to. Jurisdiction disappears. Officer down, agency needs assistance does not go unanswered.

Question about body armor for anyone who knows. In the eighties and nineties there was an undershirt type kevlar armor that looked to be pretty effective in demonstrations. It would stop just about every pistol round up to the 44 Mag. I don't see many guys wearing this any more. The ones that do wear armor seem to be wearing heavier vests. And a lot of them don't wear any protection at all as far as I can tell. Why did this fall out of favor?

hmmm - something doesn't compute here.
Have I missed the mass murders by cops you speak of?
Is the media over-hyping the murders of cops by thugs?

It's on FOX right now.

Just looked at headlines nothing mentioned about color of cops killed or their perpetrators. Lol.

You're right, we should address the problem. The problem is these bastard thugs that can't follow our societies laws. The animals that fail to contribute anything positive to society and the people like you that make excuses for them are the real problem.
