My oldest is really smart and conscientious. He puts others above himself, which can also be concerning as his mom, but is the mark of a truly good person. He's moving to honors classes after struggling with learning problems when he was younger.
My daughter is beautiful, intelligent, talented, and a free spirit. She is mature beyond her years and, unlike most girls her age, is very self-assured and happy with who she is.
My little one is the bravest person I know. He has faced more in 10 years than most people do in their lifetime and he does so always with a smile. He's had a rough couple of weeks and had to spend a couple of days getting IV treatments. Never once even flinched.
I'm pretty fortunate to have such awesome kids!

Daughter finished a 7 year program to get her masters in 6 years. This was after her teachers in elementary wanted to put her in a special ed program because she scored a substandard score on a state test.
I threw a fit and wouldn't let it happen. Yes she has dyslexia but with proper education she was able to function like a normal student.
She graduated on the deans list with honors.

my daughter is the prettiest red-head ever, and is by far the smartest person to ever come through my family. she graduated from LSU in honors college with almost all the extra ribbons and stuff that the smart kids get. She's a teacher and does campus ministry. my son makes a good living doing tv and movie stunt work.
My psuedo-step-daughter is an eye surgery tech and runs marathons. One psuedo-step-son is a traveling musician, who plays with some pretty nice country guys, and has given us three grandchilden. the other psuedo-step-is a Cirque du Soleil percussionist and writes/designs award winning competition marching band shows.
We have an interesting bunch, and are extremely proud of all of them. most of them can even wipe their own asses, usually.

My 15 month old was the youngest kid his daycare has ever put in the "toddler" room because of how well he could communicate and how advanced he was physically.

My 4, 6, and 7 year olds are training for a Spartan kids race!
My 6 year old was a #10 in soccer last year and was the most cerebral player on the team. His first goal was a true soccer players goal, dribbled around a guy and shot it off the post on the far side of the keeper on a tight angle. Was a thing of beauty.

Might not want to let your buddy hear about this.....
Little League Baseball has stripped the U.S. championship from the Chicago-based Jackie Robinson West team and has suspended the coach for violating a rule prohibiting the use of players who live outside the geographic area that the team represents, it was announced Wednesday.

my 5 year old scored 12 goals in a soccer game. this is the only competitive game i ever had. they won 12-11 and the 11 came from when i had to pull him off to make other parents happy
i had another game where i had to keep him in the whole game due to amount of kids that showed up and we won 10-0.
he's 5, but still a baller.
