She’s looking for 1500-1900 sf, not 3000-6000 sf, and a 1/2 million+ dollar price tag

What type of neighbors are you looking for? Some of those are a bunch of grumpy old people and some are full of younger families.

Lakes at Jamestown is a good balance I think. You’re commute / traffic related etc is going to be a big factor. You would feel safe in all of those neighborhoods.

I like a mix of ages for sure but would prefer something on the quiet side I suppose.

I doubt they have any houses under 2500 sf there. Of all the neighborhoods she listed, Oak Hills will probably be the most expensive (per sq ft).

I was talking about the type of neighborhood the OP is looking at, not best neighborhood in BR over all.

And btw, CCLA is not the best neighborhood in BR. I’d take Hundred Oaks over that place anyday.

True. I probably need to look in the subdivisions surrounding Oak Hills.

Move into St George Area. New big subdivision being built on Jones Creek Road just east of Coursey Blvd. Hickory Ridge on Coursey Blvd is also a nice subdivision that’s a little older home. Many nice subdivision in the area. Some new some older.

Which is Iberville Terrace, it’s attached to it. Basically the same neighborhood with smaller houses and lots

Iberville Terrace here. Bought here 1-1/2 years ago. Love it. Decent sized lots, convenient to anywhere. Older home, but we don't mind. Left a cookie cutter subdivision in Prairieville to move back to BR.

I drove through today. I like the neighborhood!

I can't drive through the subdivision because it's gated. I need to get my agent to take me in there.

i lived here for 10 years. great neighborhood, connects to the brec neighborhood park in great oak, lots are good size with trees houses are 1600-1900ish.

only con was when i lived there, all my neighbors were old enough to be my grandparents and never did anything.

I am a grandparent but I am active. I like to work in my yard, walk and ride my bike.

Magnolia woods is spitting distance from Mayfair.

DEF not cookie cutter tho.

Even the garden district butts up against the hood on terrace. And that is what some people argue is the problem with BR.

I just sold my house in WPP, 1550 sq ft.

It's a wonderful neighborhood, little gem in the middle of BR metro area. If you don't have to worry about sending kids to school or are willing to/can afford to go private, WPP is my recommendation. Friendly neighborhood, no HOA, people care about the neighborhood and neighbors, community pool, both interstates very close by, quiet (depending on where you live. Some parts back up to i-10). Affordable, smaller houses in the Westminster side.
