Anybody else noticing some drainage issues?

Bluebonnet in between Highland/Perkins has some standing water already.

Driving down Highland & noticed ditches are already full. The naked man statue’s island is starting to flood as well.

This happens often in that area when we get this much rain in such a short time. I'm not so sure if there's an actual problem causing it, or if it's just all the canals and stuff getting filled up with the heavy rains.

No idea but he does have a bow.

During the flood I watched the water reach the top of his shoulders before it started receding. Now I can’t even fathom the water being that high.

If you're talking about Mr. Rackley's property, the guy who moves the chicken around, then yes it is.

I know. Been in this area for 5 years & I’ve never seen standing water in both lanes of this stretch. Usually one lane but not both.

Is there by any chance any standing water on the Coursey/S. Sherwood intersection?

Newsflash:

Idiots in Central, Zachary, BR are replacing drain pipes while only clogging those pipes with mud. All they had to do was dig out ditches, clean out drains, bridges, etc.

Instead they made a bigger mess. But politics, image is everything.

Grass/plants are dormant and not sucking down the water like it typically would. Runoff happening quicker than usual, so you'll be seeing surprising flash flooding across the area today for the limited rainfall.

*obviously nothing near August 2016, I'm talking roadways and possibly very low lying property sitting on bayous and streams in the area.*

That makes sense. Just got a flash flood notification.

He wants to see a statue of a naked man. The mind sees what it sees.
