Say it again louder for people in the back

Some real world applications can’t be taught in 30 second segments and that’s the real challenge with the Tic Tok gen’s.

I tried to talk to one of our idiot Gen Z new hires about investing and tried to give him some guidance as far as maxing his HSA, Roth, and contributing at least up to 6% match for 401k. Keep in mind he lives at home in his parents basement and has zero expenses his mommy still makes his lunch and does his laundry for him. This stupid frick asked me if he contributed to his retirement “how would he be able to pay for video games, streaming services, and pizza”

These imbeciles just don’t get it.

I'll never understand how the ones that ran a once great company into the ground always seem to emerge as the ones to be in control after they've been "acquired," it's happened where I work as well

Exactly. It took time to recover from the Boomers impact.

If you’re kid is graduating HS, you are not a Boomer.

one of the reasons I don't sail off into the sunset is because I give a shite and realize that this current generation is in no way capable of passing the baton to

Because Sales will always win. The fact is that it’s easier to hire & retain the technically trained employees than the top tier Sales person. They are a rare breed and coveted by board members bc they are the people who bring in the money to pay for everyone else.

It happened 5’7 Mingo. We’ve got a whole side of the office full of these morons.

I wonder how Mr. Boeing would view that

Gen X here with my son graduating hs in 2 weeks. I see his faults but know he will grow into being a real asset for some company before he eventually owns his own.

I'll be honest. I didn't grasp this shite in my early 20s either. Wish I had. That's not something they even glaze over in school. I believe now in Louisiana, they have to take a semester learning about this in high school. We didn't have that in the 1900s.

I have zero doubt you legitimately feel you’re making a positive impact. Most people with an irrational ego do the same.

Probably the same way you & I see it; with extreme distrust and disdain.

Actually, in his field, he does make a real impact training new people entering the industry and we would be in deep shite if his whole generation in that field walked off into the sunset all at once.

Watching him turn into Roger lite with the lies and stroking himself off has been fascinating. He’s like the TD version of Mark Cuban
