This sounded a lot like my Greatest Gen grandparents. I'm thinking this is just how old people cope with stuff.
I'm not a boomer lover but they were the generation that invented jogging as a form of recreation and when younger where in much better health statistically than their kids, despite smoking like crazy.
I think a lot of stuff now is due to how we eat, what's in our food now and the easy access to video games that were not there in the past. Hell, for most of the boomer's life they had 4 channels of TV or cable which was super expensive until the mid 90s.

Them not caring about what they ate almost certainly expedited or even created their degraded state of no appetite.
As you get older you eat less.
What you stated above isn't true.

Boomers are the most worthless spoiled generation this world has ever seen.
They aren't worth a bucket of warm spit.
Boomers worked circles around you lazy entitled complainers....you wouldnt have survived a week in their world at your age....go to your safe space.

Generation vs generation arguments are so pedestrian

Look in the mirror.
It is obvious you've never been a caregiver for elderly parents.

Oh I read the chain email you sent about all that. Boomer.

Well, you ever thought maybe they have all the money because they go to the shitty chain restaurants, and you and your wife and kids waste a shite ton of money ordering out 100.00 dollar a plate "real food" dinners and 10.00 dollar coffees for breakfast with your 20.00 acai bowl?
The OP contradicts many points about Boomers. He shits on them for being fat, when it’s pretty easy to see with your own eyes that the current generation is the most obese. And it’s going to get worse as technology allows us all to sit on our arse for longer periods of time.
In regards to eating healthy…one could argue that’s more expensive than just getting a can of beans loaded with whatever oils are in there. If that’s the case, they aren’t eating as cheaply as they could…technically.
And another upvote for you. My generation and younger latched on to this “farm to table” bullshite that is probably a lie in 90% of the restaurants that promote it. They think a food truck is some hip thing. It’s a tatted up dude wearing an old ball cap cooking in a converted white van. Then they charge $27 for a bowl of some Asian fusion. You have to leave a tip, and add on $5 for your coke in a bottle. But it’s cool…that $40 meal for one is worth it, because it’s locally sourced out of a vehicle.

You probably do and believe a bunch of dumb shite as well.
