What are they going to bet on? Sports are postponing/canceling.

NASCAR running this weekend in ATL with no fans

NASCAR issued the following statement Thursday, March 12:

“At this time, NASCAR will hold its race events at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway without fans in attendance. These events will be restricted to competitors, crews, officials and other necessary personnel to conduct the race. We will work with public health officials as we determine future scheduling beyond these events.”

Keep waiting for Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs to shut out attendees. They generally get upwards of 30k on weekend days. Can't imagine how they'll handle the casino.

Gamblers

If slots and table games are your vices, slot machines and table games are still going to be open for the time being at the casinos in Mississippi and Louisiana (Too much tax revenue to lose.)

Unless we go into "stay at home quarantine" these places are going to stay open or at reduced hours.

Some casinos in Vegas are trying to limit their exposure to the virus by closing some of their buffets.

Having been to some of the gulf coast casino establishments, the biggest place of concern is the cashier line to get into the buffet (unless you are concerned about norovirus). It is not the food serving area. The cashier is where most of the people would congregate because you are waiting for tables to clear up and people to pay.

If I have a bet on Kansas to win the title, am I just out my money? It’s from the beau rivage sports book if that matters.
