My SO (no pics) evidently volunteered to go help out at this tomorrow night against my advice. Do people actually go to these events?

Cortana is abandon and pretty scary which seems like the perfect place for a haunted house.

I am going to dress up like I did in the 1980’s and go. If they ask me what I am suppose to be, I will tell them a Cortana mall shopper.

This is a very popular event. I helped out a couple of years ago when it was still over at the police HQ facility on Airline. There were several hundred, possibly a thousand kids participating and several parents openly expressed appreciation to the officers because they live in areas where it isn't safe for their kids to trick or treat. Also, it gives the police a chance to do something that can be perceived as positive for the NBR community.

anyway, I know that doesn't mean much to some folks but I thought it was a pretty cool event.

I stead of candy, put on a mama brava hat and give out pizza by the slice.
