Within the last 3 weeks he had a Supreme Court nominee confirmed in the most contentious judicial fight in modern memory, after everyone thought Ford’s testimony was going to sink Kavanaugh
That's not an accomplishment. That's called the norm. When is the last time a nominee was not confirmed?

The economy continues to see 1990s levels of consumer sentiment and data. Unemployment is at 40-50 year lows
And when did the economy start in the direction its on now in every measurable way? It wasn't 2016. Every growth metric is improving at the same rate it has since 2009.

He has been a productive president, with 2 large failures so far (healthcare and the Wall) although with regards to healthcare, he did repeal the mandate and insurance premiums are falling for first time in years. McCain was to blame for repeal failure
"Productive" in a sense that he's been able to get one major piece of legislation passed and it was a tax cut that has once again proven that trickle down economics is a scam.
I'd like a source for your statement that premiums are falling. Deductibles are skyrocketing in order to maintain a manageable rate of premium increases.

Why can’t you people be adults and not try to politicize shite like this?
The baseball shooter does not represent the average democrat
The mail bomber does not represent the average republican
This! It is amazing how tribal people can get.
Both, the baseball shooter and the bomber are likely deranged individuals. If it wasn't for politics, there would be something else out there that would trigger them.
If anything, I think we should be praising the FBI and all the law enforcement that have been investigating this since it started. And whether you love or hate them, the media got the information out there.. That's how Robert De Niro's bodyguard was able to identify it.
The political climate in this country hasn't been this dangerous since.. Probably the 60s. It's a "you either with us are against us" mentality and everyone is so quick to blame the other side for something.
What happened this week with these bombs could happen to anyone of us at any given time. You never know when some crazy arse will decide to send out bombs to random people. There are times when you can push the politics to the side.

It's called an economic cycle, I have only been doing this for a living for 25 years...economy heats up rates rise, eventually to a level that stimies the economy, then rates fall, eventually to a level which makes investing in equities on margin very profitable....I have and continue to do business with many of the largest asset managers in the world...if they'll talk rates and market conditions with me, I'm good with that over some internet jack off

Maxine Waters isn't president. I don't agree w/ her statements, but, not in the same league as Tiny Trump. As Theodore Roosevelt noted, the president has a "bully pulpit." The president has the ability to affect the tone of the national discussion. This president incites terrorists like the MAGA Bomber. He routinely praises violence and has offered to pay the legal fees of those engaging in violence. Not "fake news." Fact.
And, to top it off, this POS puts "bomb" in quotations marks to downplay the danger; a sentiment not shared by his FBI director and Attorney General.
Donald is an orange shitstain on the national drawers of America.

What's odd is that this guy is only facing 58 years in jail for mailing bombs (that probably didn't work) to 12 people, including former presidents. They were charging him with mailing bombs, and not attempted murder

How many large pieces of legislation to presidents typically get passed in 2 years?
1 or 2 seems to be the norm
He has signed more bills into law than obama through respective times in their presidencies.
Bill Clinton’s first term saw a spectacle failure at healthcare reform and some marginal increase in income tax rates.

Apparently the FBI and Jeff Sessions thought the bombs had a chance to work.
But apparently the "president" doesn't think so.

What specifically did bill Clinton do to balance the budget?
Bill Clinton had a fascinatingly sparse amount of policy achievements, at least ones liberals would admire
He signed a small tax increase into law in his first term. He then failed with healthcare and his party lost control of Congress.
From then on, his crowning achievement was signing a welfare reform bill he wanted to veto.
Also, bill Clinton inherited an economy that was already out of recession for 7 months, benefited from dotcom boom, and the Cold War peace dividend.
Not to mention he would have been forced to resign from office if the metoo movement was a thing then.
Ronan farrow is on record saying the accusations against bill are as credible as other stories he has written.

It's about the bomb suspect. Turning political is inevitable because of the nature of it, however it's too broad to be on the political board.
You can't have a normal discussion there. If you don't like this thread why not just don't read it?

You do realize presidents don’t “cut” things, congress does?
He signed into law budgets that were created by Gingrich and co
Liberals absolutely despised the budgets he signed. At one point, bill’s approval among dems was only 67%. They hated the welfare reform bill
Do you people not remember the moral Monday protests in New Orleans in the late 90s? The churches came together to protest the law.

His deficits are too high, but smaller than Obama's.
And Bush inherited a balanced budget (based on Enron accounting but it's still apples to apples).
