the older the egg, the easier to peel. Buy eggs closer to the listed exp date. Stick eggs in cold water and turn heat to high. Once the water begins to boil, set timer for 4 minutes for Large eggs and 5 for Jumbo eggs. when timer is up move to faucet water to cool the boiling water and pot. wait two minutes and crack at end of egg and begin to peel. split egg lenght wise and sprinkle with GOOD salt. Enjoy the creamy goodness.

The a-hole saying 8 minutes for soft boiled should be buttfricked by goats.

Instapot makes the easiest peeling boiled/steamed eggs in the world.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this 10-second method of peeling.
