Historically post-pubescent people have been eligible for marriage and child bearing. However we live under vastly different mores. I think in one sense a grown woman being attracted to a 6’3 210lb (or whatever it was) “grown-assed man” is not pedophlic.
But so much of pedophilia is about the overweening influence, power, control, and such and not about being attracted to actual children.
In short, I do think it’s a form of pedophilia. Not the most awful and reprehensible form that would warrant her being tortured and publicly executed.
But we have set the age of consent for a reason, and the teacher-student relationship is an additional power relationship that we as a society have decided warrants special consent laws.
She can decide to ruin her own life and her family’s in turn but when she does that with a minor student then she has threatened another person’s mental health etc. That boy is a walking hormone with an undeveloped brain, in a subservient position (as it were) to his teacher.
Defending this shite is absurd.
