Body found in St. Amant near HWY 431 -- Update on Page 3

Only canals I know of along the highway are closer to Airline, near the high school, and then again near the elementary school.
ETA: apparently it’s near the high school/Pit Stop area according to the bookfaces.

St. Amant is quite a drive from north Baton Rouge...especially with a dead body in the trunk.

Why would a 34 year old high school teacher have any reason to be dramatic about a body? I'm telling you what she saw. She has no reason to embellish this.
The body was lying on the road. She saw it when she was leaving work. The end.

Except they found the body floating in the canal. Even the cops aren’t pulling the body out of the water to lay it in the middle of the damn road. Come on.
