Cat crunches the snakes head around .58 second mark then proceeds to roll around at the murder scene like a normal house cat.

People love domesticated dogs, but dislike wild dogs. People also dislike domesticated cats, but love wild cats. Strange.

Remember that thread on the OT that went like 20 pages asking if a grown man would win a fight vs a bobcat?

If the snake had just hauled arse and left the scene, would the bobcat have chased it? Or would the bobcat have just given up and gone about its day?

Given the final result, hauling arse couldn't have ended up any worse for the snake...

Looked to me like that snake was trying to GTFO of there.

Maybe so...I just got the impression that the snake was pissed and wanted to bite the cat.

The video seems to be edited together to cut out time when not much was happening, so I was thinking maybe the snake had time to back down and leave.

the velocity of the cat punch is amazing they are so quick and actually punch pretty hard in relation to other animals their size, I saw a tv show on it one time that snake was punch drunk by the time his skull was crunched

Seemed like some weak strike attempts to me, are bobcats immune to a rattlesnake bite? I mean I'd assume one landed strike from the snake and the bobcat would be dead right? Not immediately certainly.
