This is true, I've been hearing of a few cases of it. One in particular, my wife has a distant cousin going through this. She's a fairly powerful lawyer and her ex turned out to be a POS. She's having to pay him a boat load of money in alimony. All the women in the family bitch and moan about it constantly. They were furious when I pointed out that I can count 15 to 20 men I know going through the same thing and this was the first women I've every remotely known to have to pay alimony.
The guy did her wrong and she doesn't deserve it at all, but part of me kinda doesn't care because so many guys get the same treatment and you won't find a single woman that gives a shite.

I put child support in a different category, even though it often becomes mommy support. But in the case of alimony, I see not paying it (or falling behind) the same as defaulting on any other civil judgment.
There's a guy who I got a judgment against for a busted construction project 30 years ago. He fell behind and finally stopped paying to satisfy it. I don't recall the judge ever offering to have him locked up. Medical bills, credit cards, damages to personal property... all things that result in civil judgments. Yet, no one goes to jail if they don't/can't pay.
Of course alimony is an antiquated concept. Only some horse's arse feminist still believes in that "have your cake/eat it too" system. And these cases where women are ordered to pay alimony are about as rare as a selfie with Big Foot.
And no, I've never been married or divorced, and I don't have a grudge against women (but I wouldn't spit on a feminazi if her/his/its azz was on fire).
