True story. I was a pitcher in high school and was warming up in the bullpen (which was just grass down the right field line) my sophomore year at Capital High School in the hood and a group of local residents drove by in an old hunk of shite car with rims worth more than the car and yelled out of the window at me "hey white boy, you a bitch". I just kept warming up.

I've never been called "white boy", but I have been referred to as "boss" in similar situations.

So he called out ignorant people, and y'all are giving him shite? This wasn't about being thick skinned. This is about the bullshite. He was saying "You wanna play on equal footing, really? Then don't play with me."
I am disappointed in the OT for not applauding for him calling disrespectful people out. These people never get called out. The ignorant and lazy (regardless of race). He called it out, I am ok with this.

Did I misread, except from a stupid headline? Didn't read about tears. I take headlines with a grain of salt. The quotes I thought were legit. He brought up a first world problem at Popeyes that everyone seems ok with. I am ok with that. And I don't think there were actual tears.
