Coronavirus pandemic is a real crisis.
Unfortunately, the reaction to the coronavirus is a crisis in itself. It remains to be seen if the reaction crisis is worse than the virus itself.
A lot of that depends upon how you value a single human life and how many global/national deaths to a pandemic one finds acceptable.
Our response to this crisis is unprecedented. However, Facing a crisis like this - a national pandemic - is not unprecedented... there have been many pandemics before. That’s where the disconnect is for me... why all this for this particular one when we’ve never taken some of these steps in previous pandemics? Either A) we didn’t do Nearly enough in those previous pandemics or B) unnecessary overkill in this current pandemic
Personally, I believe this to be the biggest overreaction in American history. I hope that we are saving thousands of lives, because if not IMO we have done more harm than good. If all this was to save merely 500 elderly lives, I do not believe that’s a good socially-responsible reaction.

Globally we are running a 4% mortality rate. We are weeks behind Europe so it's hard to really compare us to them. I do feel like based on current information we are not blow out of proportion. Time will tell the truth as more tests are made available and our mortality rate calculation becomes more accurate. But if this virus truly is a 4% mortality rate that is huge.

So you are for potentially becoming a host to spread the pathogen to old folks?

Fist time/long time here. Why don’t we put in Lee? Jefferson clearly not getting it done this first half. Does JJ have something on Miles?! I mean come on!!! We need a QB and won’t win shite until we take a hard look in the mirror.
