BATON ROUGE - School officials are investigating another brawl at McKinley High, just over a week after the East Baton Rouge School System said students were facing discipline for fighting on campus.

Video shared with WBRZ shows the fight, which happened on campus Thursday and left at least one student with a bloodied face.

The East Baton Rouge School System released a statement late Friday night confirming four students were involved in the fight.

These are the prison training facilities that this local government wants you to send your own children to, so they can educate them in the fine arts of survival.

Our society in general just sucks now. From the top of governments to so many of the kids being raised. At every level, it just sucks.

The video is exactly what I expected it to be. I think it would be interesting if we could track the individuals involved in things like this to see how long the progression takes to go from this to a crime that gets them incarcerated. EBR public schools are training grounds for parish prison and Angola.

Lets not get our panties in a wad. Theres always been fighting at high schools dating back half a century ago and that includes private schools. As long as guns arent being drawn out and used, this isnt the end of the world.

Now we should point out and laugh about the fighting technique used by all 4-5 kids in this video which I like to call the weed-eater. Dudes are just rotating their shoulders and flailing their arms around at a high rate of speed without any clue where contact will be made.

Wasn’t their football game canceled just a week ago for a bench clearing brawl?

My kids were and one still is in public school system. I grew up boxing and like many dads wanted to teach my kids how to defend themselves. Once they get to around middle school age or before, send them to a real trainer where they can learn Jiu Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, etc from a real coach, hell, even judo or wrestling.

My oldest got picked on a lot and learned Jiu jitsu, took his confidence to a whole other level and nobody messed with him. He never once had to use it. But shitty public schools and even many private schools, they need to know how to protect themselves. And no, he’s not a bad arse at all, just helped with his confidence and he’s been in it about 10 years now.

That’s not a “fight”. That is a brawl, and that kind of prison behavior shite happens all the time in the cesspool EBR schools and why if anyone actually cares for their kid in EBR, and can find a way out, THEY DO, because they love their kids and don’t want them to be absorbed into the ghetto prison culture that is the EBR parish school system.

Don’t give me this bullshite that it’s a fight. We all went to school and saw fights. That’s not what’s going on here, and you know it.

Didn’t look too bad. This happens everywhere. Glad no weapons were involved.

There is only like 4-5 people in this video fighting. That could be 2 friends vs 3 other friends. Ive seen some public school brawls on video that make this look like a friendly game of paddy cake.

With that said, I agree this is trashier than my standards.

Edit: Mikedatiger, there were private school fighting back 15 years ago between some local baton rouge schools that looked worse than this and every one of their dads went to all their football games. Thats my point. Lets not go jump off a cliff over this particular video

It’s what happens all the time in shite holes, but that doesn’t make it normal to people who aren’t in shite holes.

Something oddly familiar was that a public school or a Wawa or black friday?
It’s a cultural thing I guess.

We have played McKinley, Tara and Istrouma in football in successive weeks. All you need to know is that there are more kids on the sideline than in the stands for McKinely and Tara (we were @Tara), and a slight bit more for Istrouma. I feel terrible for those kids. How many of them have a chance when this is the parental support and involvement they have. It’s a vicious cycle that won’t be fixed until those communities chose to fix it.

Fire hoses that shoot pepper spray would work wonders at these schools.
