my reasoning for saying that is i feel like people treat race like a club, but none of us actually accomplished anything to join the club except for being born. it's also the reason why i think racial pride is stupid.
i believe that having pride in anything besides your own accomplishments or contributions is ridiculous. and even then, we're still building upon an existing structure of knowledge passed down to us, so should we ever really be proud about anything? personally, i think not.
