Oh, I completely agree. Thats the problem. Some dude nobody here will ever meet is possibly racist and is an a-hole to boot. His a-hole mellinnial friends are online talking about what the mellinnials in Ohio are doing or posting Vines from a Trump rally in NYC.
Caring about it and bringing it up on social media isn't doing anything. It isn't raising awareness. What it does is cultivate a generation of people who would rather discuss problems far away and cast blame rather than focus on the problems closest to them.
The internet in everyones hand has shrunk the globe and brought millions of people closer together yet pulled a generation of youth away from what's most important.

I like how he is a Rhodes scholar, receiving money to go to school from the Rhodes scholarship, and is leading the charge to take down a statue of Cecil Rhodes. Very bright and deserving guy
