biggest fear while walking my dog around my neighborhood is him tying into it with another dog..

At an athletic 100lbs, he'd be hard to control..

When I saw what was on the other end of the attacking dog's leash, told me all I needed to know.

I have an 80 lb american bulldog that is athletic as frick.

I had her on a jog and an unleashed chihuahua came up behind us and my dog latched on.

I was impressed how easily I got her off though...she would never bite me so I literally opened her mouth with my hands and she chilled.

The girl was bleeding as well right? Didn't it get ahold of her as well? Those dogs should be considered weapons or something. You saw how difficult it was for that guy to get the dog away? I love dogs, I have two, but when it comes to pitbulls its a different story.

If a pitbull was on the loose in my neighborhood, my dogs will bark at it. It would have to get through the fence to get to them, but if one of them go out in the front yard, they will bark at it and at that point there is no telling what that dog will do. There is no need for them.

You don't even know that it was a Pit Bull, yet you claim it is. The head angle at :44 does not look like a PB, narrow snout and head. Could be a mix of anything, my guess is Lab mix.

Poor little beagle. The big dog looked like a lab mix.

Wonder why it attacked?

By looking at the owner of the dog that attacked about the only thing they would get from him is the leash his dog is on.

first thing i thoug of as well.

I had a close call the other day with my mastiff. We were unloading groceries and my dog was able to get out the front the door and saw another dog on a leash. He took off and so did i. He went to go after the dog and nipped at it, but as soon as i got close he just stopped in his tracks. I was surprised he stopped and didn't continue, but it was a close call and i felt extremely bad for the other guy and dog. I'm sure it scared the hell out of him as it did me.

mastiff.

I thought Mastiffs are mild mannered dogs. They are huge dogs, that's for sure. Awhile back I was at Pet Smart and was I was going in I saw this guy coming out with a Mastiff and I could see a set of lets under it. It was the guy's little kid.. The dog was taller than he was..lol

for whatever reason my dog has issues with some other dogs. He went through training and socializing with other dogs and we have another dog in the house, so i don't know what his deal is or how to correct it. He's about four years old now.

My dog got snapped at by a dog at the dog park and turned around and they had a stare down. Both showing teeth with hair standing up on their backs.

I just put my hand on my dog's head and he immediately laid on the ground and wagged his tail.

Not hard to train your dog.

Yeah, if you got a big ole piece of shite dog that fights everything around and tees off on my docile well behaved dog for no particular reason and I have a piece on me, your going to be burying your dog. That's some true shite.

You must've part where i said he stopped as soon as i got close and that he's been through training. He is trained, he's just not as social as he should be.
