Sounds to me like the federal government should have less power.

white supremacists have been responsible for nearly 75% of deadly extremist attacks since 2001.

Did they lock him up for being black or making threats to police officer at gun rallies?

They lock up crazy white folks that act in a similar manner.

Why do you like to try incite other black peoples? I guess all you know is being a victim.

Sad.

Do you think blacks have it better in America than any other country in the world? I’m talking about counties where they make up a decent percentage of the population. Say more than 5% of the total population.

Yes they do.

Now let's discuss the police actions here.

A man, with a past proven history of violence and criminal charges, illegally owns a firearm and is actively threatening police and calling for riots and unrest for large groups of people so he's arrested and ultimately the justice system works as intended and then let's him go. What's your problem with that?

Then charge him and put him on trial right?
Surely a conviction would be easy right?

Dont violate his rights right?

They dropped the charges and released him.

You'd rather they put him on trial?

Convicted Domestic Abuser possibly illegally owning a firearm and inciting riots and violence is arrested and investigated, investigation finds nothing wrong, he's let go.

Why is this terrifying?

Convicted? Ok. He plead down like 90% of convictions in this nation, so I'll give you that.

So, held for 5 months without charges/evidence/etc is okay with you?

What is the govt read your post history, determined you may commit a crime, and detained you for five months without charges?
That's basically what happened here, and because we don't agree with what he was saying, it is okay with us.

And he was provided food, shelter and clothing at no additional charge. It’s not like he got nothing out of this.

Yes, if he broke the law.
Why release him if he broke the law? Why detain him so long if he did not.

I do not care about this guy, I care about his and my rights.
Dont you?

this is a First Amendment issue. People wrongly believe the First gives you the right to say whatever whenever you want with no repercussions. That’s just wrong. The USSC held long ago that you can’t stand up in a theater and yell FIRE. These BLM types have been doing just that for years now and it led directly to Dallas and Baton Rouge. At some point, they have to take responsibility. That being said, it’s pretty scary to see a guy detained for five months with no charges. Not sure how they got around Speedy Trial as the federal system moves very quickly.

frick all of this post. That was probably the most dangerous supere court ruling of all time, and I guarantee you liberals in this country are going to attempt to use your same logic to ban “hate speech”. Besides the most simplified cases like the fire example, the ultimate problem that logic runs into is who gets to decide what speech could be considered harmful.

I don’t agree with BLM, but they should sure as frick be able to yell frick the police to their hearts content. It’s dangerous to say otherwise and blame them for the actions of a couple individuals. What happens when the tables are turned and a tea party type tries to blow up a government building? Does that mean the tea party rallies are to blame and have to be stopped?

It's coming. Old school conservatives aren't much more likely to stand up for our rights either.
