2200 Block of Bienville is between North Galvez and North Miro. It's a mixed area of businesses...automotive and light industrial and then residences.
There appears to be SOME gentrification occurring, some nice houses and some not-so-nice.

I know. It's still not a place anyone is "going out" to - really there's nothing of such even anywhere in the general vicinity. Just pointing out the stupidity of that one particular statement.
ETA, Although, perhaps he was hanging at the Cozzy Spot. Looks like it's about a block away.

I'll admit that a couple of guys were probably over the line but I didn't see Tbird "celebrating". Most people are commenting based on the fact that a guy who spent his life chasing a boogie man was killed by what should have been the more obvious threat. Imagine a guy who spent his life protesting the negative health effects of ibuprofen dying of a heroin overdose. Not the best analogy but you get what I'm saying.
