Well no. You don't live here and won't be essentially paying for cleaning up the mess when it defaults and closes.

The state analysis projected around 275k annual visitors while Ham himself was touting well over a million. Who do you think is wrong?

Why did YOUR zoning and planning commission allow it to be built if YOU have such a problem with it?

I didn't vote for the people who appointed those who approved it?
I've said from the start it's not just an embarrassment but it's going to end up being another financial albatross for the state when it's said and done.

Sure, but using your fame as a children's celebrity to humiliate and shame well-intentioned and ultimately benign people who do believe in it is a pretty brown-shirt move.
I'd agree with this portrayal when it comes to the average idiot out there...but Ken Hamm and his ilk are not getting a pass as merely well intentioned goobers. Pull up videos of guys like Michael Shermer debating some of Hamm's scientists as the Creation Museum up there and let me know how benign their intentions seem.

Relax. It will make a nice Bass Pro one day.

I don't believe the ark story, but I wouldn't mind walking around that thing. I can't think of any other giant wooden boats with dinosaurs I can visit.

So trying to tell people that they are wrong about something is Nazism now? This is why islamic extremism will never die. We can't even have a conversation about what is logical or real when it comes to religion.
Wut?
Nye stays in the news exclusively for his open contempt and aggressive derision of not just religion as an institution, but those who ascribe to it- that is a textbook Nazi tactic.
It has nothing to do with "telling someone they're wrong" and everything to do with fomenting contempt for religion as a whole. Bill Nye and Richard Dawkins have made second careers out of being crusading atheists, and they're progressive darlings, but anyone who actually listens to them speak on the topic can only come to the conclusion that they are spiteful douchebags looking for props from the "elite" community.
I'm agnostic and don't really care one way or another about stories like this Ark thing, but when a Nye or Dawkins gets unsolicitedly involved, it just automatically makes me sympathetic to their target. They're just self-promoting egomaniacs who like to revel in the adoration of the "enlightened" masses.

Upset over biblical truth?!
Nye the Science Guy can take his Darwinian clap trap and shove it. Kentucky and Noah's Ark are, right now, the center of the Universe.

I kinda want to see it now, and I don't take the story as fact.

because it was financed with a public tax increment financing program and is going to frick the people of that city and Kentucky as a whole down the line.

What's a crusading atheist? Do you mean outspoken atheist?
Yeah...I'm fine with that. As someone said earlier, this it exactly the problem we have with Islamism...a desire by the faithful to keep any and all discussion or argumentation about their beliefs out of the public forum. Nah...those days are over.
If we truly live in a free society then any and all ideas are subject to being debated and discussed. Just because adherents want them to be off limits can not and should not make them so.
