Are you in a MC?

I believe earlier in the thread he said he was not in a MC.

morning OT. Second, the reports of any "kill order" going out on cops is an absurd lie making the rounds in a gullible media willing to believe anything they're told about

The police department reported that. Media reported what the PD reported

No I'm not, but some of my best friends are and I've been around MC members all my life.

Thanks, the 1700 is a great bike. I've always wondered if I was the only patch holder here. Nice to finally see I'm not.

As for the cops reaction time, they were already in place and had the building surrounded even before the meeting got started. They had everything out there with SWAT, armored cars, and most, or all, of the cops were armed with M4's. The bikers knew full well from the moment they arrived that the cops were there in full force and were loaded for bear. That's another reason why the official story coming out seems

I agree the official story is suspect. The police chief or whoever blaming the restaurant is weird too.
I wouldn't have been surprised to learn that all 9 dead were killed by cops.

Excatly, and if the PD are willing to lie about that, what else are they willing to lie about?

If I didn't have such a problem with authority I'd probably be a ph, but I don't do well with being told what to do and growing up all that was around me were 1% clubs and you know how that goes

What I'm hearing is that all 9 were killed by cops. If I had to guess this all started probably with one trigger happy cop opening up and when he did the rest of them followed and all hell broke out.

So the PD are lying here. Got it. Only If the PD had just left them alone and stayed away after they shot each other up and put the public at risk. Let's blame the PD

I was not really surrounded. I did have one 2nd cousin in Florida that was a member of the HA's. Every yrar we'd go spend the summer with his parents when I was a little kid. He's the one that got me interested in bikes. That was over 35 years ago and the rest is history.

How about we wait and see what the evidence points to?

Bet there's a lot of people in prison who wish the Police had given them a whole week to decide if they wanted to commit a crime.

Seems like Waco PD gave them every chance to cancel the event.

Do Harley riders look down on rice burner riders?

I spent a few hours talking to 2 VP's from Harley. One of them had his own collection of motorcycles. They were not all Harleys. I now have a Suzuki but had a Goldwing at that time. They had vast knowledge of many brands from many years.

One of my friends has an old Harley moped from the early sixties, called a Springer. It was actually Italian made, for Harley. One of the VP's gave me his email so he could speak with my friend about buying it for the Harley museum.

To answer your original question, my Harley riding friends give more grief to one of our friends that rides an 883 than to me. (an 883 is a Harley ladies' bike)

The event was not a crime. We have this thing called the Constitution that guarantees the right of assembly. I've attended COC meetings for years. They happen monthly or quarterly in all 50 states and have for a long time.

The PD did not say Cancel or you will be arrested. They gave a message that there would be a large police presence if you show up.

The police can say what they want. You still have rights. This is not the Soviet Union, or at least I thought it wasn't.
