I have been reading this thread from the beginning.
Darth, you have taken a lot of shite in this thread and you kept your cool through most of it.
I never knew much about bikers. My uncle had a show Harley when I was a kid and my brother has a Harley now. He and 4 or 5 of his friends go riding most weekends. They just ride for fun. I never realized that there was such a large subculture, for lack of a better word, of bikers. I've enjoyed your explanations and the way that you've been willing to answer most questions.
The rebelgator guy sounds like a prick. If he actually is a federal agent, I hope he is just trying to play Internet badass. If he really acts irl the way he does on here, it's terrible to think that a person like him is a fed. The "better than everyone else" attitude that he has displayed in most of this thread makes him seem like a bitter little frick.
There was a BRPD officer injured in a hit and run a while back. My brother isn't in this club, but he participated in the ride to raise money for the officer. Rebelgator needs to realize that not all bikers are trash. Just my $.02

It's his thing.

What's funny to me is all the cereal commercials with black families eating cornflakes with both parents there. Lol.
Normal black families do exist...

But the cops arrested like 170 people. If you do the math, that means they've got a little under 150 people arrested as a result of this so-called shootout who were not even armed. Now if there really was a bi gun fight going on and you don;t have a gun, are you looking to fight or looking to find a place to take cover?
A. A lot more of those 150 had pig stickers in their pockets without a doubt
B. By arresting them all the police probably save scores of lives, do you think the violence would t have erupted over and over that day if that many had been left? Cooling off in a cell even if charges are not filed on most was the safest course of action.

Bikers vow revenge and to send more down there?
Death threats to cops?
And...
No curfew.
No military style police?

First, good morning OT. Second, the reports of any "kill order" going out on cops is an absurd lie making the rounds in a gullible media willing to believe anything they're told about bikers. If anything all these reports about some stupid "kill order" proves is that you can't believe everything the media tells you.

Were these just bikers or MC (gang) members?
Is there a difference?
Does your MC commit felonies? Locally? Nationally?

1. This was a COC (confederation of clubs) meeting. Present at this meeting was numerous clubs ranging from 1%er's, family clubs, military vet clubs, and Christan ministry clubs. This was not a meeting to divvy up "turf" or coordinate anything criminal.
2. There are a wide range of bikers. Everything from doctors, preachers, teachers, cops, firemen, military personnel, to just about any profession you can imagine. The vast majority are law abiding people. But as you have with any group, yes there are some who are criminals.
3. My MC does not participate or condone anything illegal. If a member is found to be doing anything like that, their patch is pulled and they are expelled from the club.

The guy has stated several times that his MC isn't a criminal organization.

Sorry. It's a 65 page thread. No one has time for that.
Thanks Darth.

Is that your Harley in your avi?
If so, I believe you that you aren't a felon.

No problem. Those were valid questions and I'm glad to answer them. They're the same questions many "civilians" outside the MC world need to ask. There's a huge misconception about MC's out there and I want to do a I can to clear up those misconceptions.

That is my scoot. It's not a Harley though. Some clubs require their nembers ride only American made motorcycles but most do not. My bike is a Yamaha Roadstar Silverado 1700.
I'm off work today to attend my daughter's 1st grade class picnic later today. I've got some free time before I have to go so I'm thinking once I'm done with my coffee I'm going to go out for a ride.

Do Harley riders look down on rice burner riders?
EDIT: Have fun at the picnic.

Some do. Those tend to be the try-Hards and jerks though. I personally look at what a person rides as a matter of personal preference. What I ride is right for me but it may not be right for you. I respect all who ride, no matter what their preference might be. Having said that, once it's time to replace my bike, I will consider a Harley. But I'll also consider Indian or even another Yamaha. Whatever bike suits me best at that time is what I'll go with.
EDIT: thank you

Bikers, especially MC members, do not under any circumstances get into huge brawls in public places where there are "civilians" present
Well I've seen the "River Run Riots" (youtube)which left 3 dead & dozens injured on the floor of a casino which left 'civilians' running for their lives.
Another in a Sparks NV casino left a person dead & others injured as 'civilians' poured out the casino .
I'm not discounting a Cop overreaction here though.
Cops responded within 1 minute of the 1et 911 call.

Yeah it has happened but as a general rule it's frowned upon and usually "club business" is handled privately

I'm glad you brought that up. It was the very riot you mentioned that led all the clubs to issue orders that in the future no such fights are to take place in "civilian" areas. That's a policy that's been in place for years now. I'm not saying it's impossible a huge brawl broke out in Waco, just that it's highly unusual.
As for the cops reaction time, they were already in place and had the building surrounded even before the meeting got started. They had everything out there with SWAT, armored cars, and most, or all, of the cops were armed with M4's. The bikers knew full well from the moment they arrived that the cops were there in full force and were loaded for bear. That's another reason why the official story coming out seems very odd.
