Mine is not as old as some, not as cool as others. It is a '99 Intruder 1500. Hard bags, V&H, no baffles, cheezy air horns.

When I am on the interstate and downshift to avoid the lane changer that did not see me, they hear it. It sounds like a Jake brake on an eighteen wheeler.

It's an Evo so no oil, I don't have any pics of the Pan or Knuckle on my phone but they are both short low fast rigids, and my old arse rarely rides them anymore except out to eat every now and then.

one of my brothers has a old Panhead, 63 I think. It's a show bike. Only times it comes out is for the bike shows. He had all the chrome treated on it to where instead of looking like chrome, it looks like it's copper. I wish I had a picture of it on me to post. I know it sounds weird, but the copper finishing looks really cool.

Here's my baby right now....

Next bike will probably be either this...

Or this...

My dad still has his Scout from the 50's albeit in boxes at the moment, one of these days I'll put it all back together.

Point taken.

I'm just drinking beer, watching the SEC baseball tournament and reading about the old Hell's Angels from the 1960s with Sonny Barger and "Sweet Willie Tumbleweed" Fritsch.

I'm happy to answer any questions within reason from anyone who's polite and generally wants to know.

I started reading that Aging Rebel blog last night and got sucked into the IO drama. I noticed a lot of 1%ers making comments like, "Law abiding, 3 piece patch clubs invite whatever they get. They go out of their way to appear to be outlaw clubs to people who don't know any better. They want the image but don't have the commitment. If they just want to ride, they should just be 1 or 2 patch clubs".

I don't agree nor disagree, I have no dog in this, so no offense. Genuinely curious of your thoughts. I saw quite a few comments expressing the same sentiment.

I got to see this 1940 Scout last year....

This crazy old dude owns it. He rides the damn thing everywhere. When I ran into him last year he'd just got back from North Carolina on it! He's some sort of curator for the Barber's Motorcycle museum just outside of B'ham. The guy is like a motorcycle Rainman or something. He's a really cool old dude to sit down with over a beer or two and just listen to his old stories. Wish I had of got a picture of him. He wears the old knee high riding boots (with huge dagger stuck down in one btw), baggy, button up riding shirt that looks like something a pirate would wear, and an old Marlin Brando in the "Wild One" style hat. This dude is a trip.

Indians are the only bikes I've ever liked. I love the WW2 741s.

What they're talking about is a growing issue, chiefly among the newer, less established clubs. There's a lot of new guys out there who start up these three piece patch clubs without knowing the ins and outs of the MC world. They've got this mistaken viewpoint that the word "respect" means "fear". This has caused problems and has even resulted in some of these clubs getting and unwanted invitation to a patch pulling party.

In regards to the IO they are mostly cops and they try and act like outlaws, until shite gets real, then they pull out badges and call on duty cops to bail them out. The 3 piece thing is silly imo but I don't belong to any club so I really have no say.

He is. This guy has forgot more about motorcycles than most of us will ever know. Hell, I could not get over the fact he'd just rode that thing to North Carolina and back!
