I can't speak to any club but my own. However, it is true that once you put on that 1%er diamond, from that point on you're expected to put club before your family, your job, and even yourself.

It's a mix. I'm currently riding a Yamaha Roadstar Silverado 1700. I love it and it's a great bike. The next one I buy, hopefully not for another few years, will probably be either Harley or Indian though. But I won't rule out another Yamaha either.
