This should not be an acceptable method of policing.

I do find it odd, that a group that touts freedom as loudly as motorcycle people do, they are always talking about freedom........that they are so subordinate in everything they do. They are ruled by one another, they are told what, when, how and who to ride their transport with...and they just say, ok.
I have a truck, I just get in it and go, carseats and all. Never had another meeting to see if I was doing it right. I can wear what ever I want, the only thing I cant do is give that low wave thing...my windows are up to keep it cool inside.
I think this freedom of the open road is just bullshite bikers are taught to say.
Well it's like I said, what COC's were founded to be one thing but they've morphed into something else entirely. That's why many in the community are starting to turn against them. The problem though is the COC's are very powerful. I think change is coming, it's only a matter of when.

I've worked with a few bikers - seems to me all this stuff is like an alternate reality/fantasy lifestyle for them. I just figured it was midlife crisis bullshyt or they never grew up. Not saying they're bad people but I'd never get involved in it.

Apparently it is not because it didnt say anything about working out issues to keep down violence in those outlines you posted. It is hard to understand how anybody can't see that if a group has to meet to work out issues before they become violent, that group has major issues. For people to look at that behavior as normal blows my mind.

Many had guns and knives? How many?
I'm willing to bet almost all had some form of a weapon on them.
Look bitch, I'm all for the police not being involved.
Hell, give them the Superdome rent free for the weekend and let all the "biker gangs and other gangs " have a real life war all weekend, no rules, all weapons allowed. On Monday, just clean up the bodies.
Society wins

I'm sorry you got your feelings hurt that you couldn't understand my comment. Continue to deflect by playing grammar police if it helps you feel better.

Why are you so intimidated by us? Is it the lifestyle? The hair? The leather? The loud rumbling of my hawg that gets your ole lady revved up and moist at the stoplight?

It's no different than the grown arse adults that dress in costumes to go to Comicon.

Are you really this damn obtuse? I only gave a few examples and tried to explain further what COC's are supposed to be about for you. But that's not good enough. OK, here, read this and shut the frick up.

The CoC is not really a MRO such as ABATE, but biker rights are often discussed and are paramount to the organization. And motorcycle club politics pertaining to legal problems with law enforcement. They also discuss harresment from certain law agencies. While Patchholders may belong to an MRO, they don't have a united membership of patch holders. Where most MROs and COCs are made up from various clubs and independents,
The CoC may vary from region to region in makeup, size, and strength but the overall mission of the CoC is unity in the motorcycling world. The CoCexists to bring communication through clubs, and improve the motorcyclist image, support legislation for the betterment of motorcycling, and allow clubs to come to a neutral spot and meet to discuss issues. They monitor and protect our biker rights in the court system. and possibly have lawyers that help to unravel legal red tape. In some areas the organization may also be a sanctioning body for new or probate clubs in that region. Often time, the Dominant club in the area may chair the meeting. The CoC is also a good place to meet some of the people in the clubs in your area.
If you are a new club it is in your interest to put a face to your club, and display respect for the other clubs.
*Note* Some do require an invite to attend, so you will want to check and see.

We get it, you don't like bikers. If you really hate bikers and have such a low opinion of them, log off here and go find a biker and explain your feelings to one face to face. All you're doing here is beating a dead horse and adding nothing to the conversation.
Seriously, we're 46 pages into this shite show. If all you've got left to say at this point is you don't like bikers and you keep going on and on about it non-stop, I've got to ask what the hell did a biker have to do to you to give you such and obsession?

I just have to ask one thing, for all the hostility and scorn so many here have for me,and apparently bikers in general, what does it say about those of you who for no reason act like such rude dockheads to a guy you've never met, really don't know at all, and hasn't done anything to you? Where does that hostility come from?
Well at least know how it feels like to be a black person on the OT when ghetto shite happens in the news.

I got that impression too. The bikers I knew had decent mechanical skills and I can respect that. But... when they'd go into this "biker" mode it was like they relapsed to high school. Funny watching grown arse men acting like that.
Only biker I knew and really respected was a guy from California that bought a Harley when he got back from Nam. He still had it and rode all over the US by himself. He seemed well adjusted.

I didn't say I dislike bikers. I just find it silly how serious you take yourselves and think your better than the rest of society because you wear leather jackets and 3 piece patches and ride in together like you're some kind of secret society.
