no way in hell. Not even a fricking chance.
I know a guy who's a longtime member of IN Country MC. Dude served two tours of duty in Vietnam as an infatryman, earned the CIB, and a chest full of metals, including the purple heart. He came home from the war and started his own business. I don't know the exact number but I believe his company provides a livelihood for about 20 people. Dude gives thousands every year to disabled vet charities and childrend's charities. He also spends hours volunteering as a Santa Clause for the Children's hospital in Birmingham. Every summer he helps put together and fund a missionary trips to central America where they build housing and schools for kids that live in poverty you and me cannot even fathom. In addition to that the guy has been married to the same woman wince the early 70's and has raised 4 solid kids who are all solid, law abiding contributing member's of society.
What have you done?

No it was a bike night, why they decided to have the COC meeting there I have no clue.
this is one part I really cannot understand. Maybe they do things differently in Texas, but I've never heard of a C.O.C. meeting taking place at a public venue. Instead they always take place at a member club's clubhouse.

COC, OMG?? I figured out MC was motorcycle club... Lots of acronyms to be a biker!

If the cops did indeed gun down 9 bikers, do you think there will be retribution?

How many non biker folk were in there?
I like titties and beer. And as I mentioned, I've seen Bandidos. If I saw them congregate in my lunch or watering hole. I'd clear out.
Guys like Darth have to know when they walk into a place, that there is tension.
Vietnam vets want no part of that shite. Maybe 20 years ago when they had more lead in their pencil. But those guys are my Dad now. He's not looking for shite anymore. Church bike groups? Not looking to kill.
The numbers in that place had to look and feel wrong. Maybe that's why only bad guys were hit. Recreational club guys may have cleared out when shite started boiling.

Sounds like Waco PD tried to shut this whole thing down at least a week before it happened. Any grown man should have enough sense to avoid that whole situation.

COC is short for Coalition (or Confederation, depending on the state) of Clubs. Like I said above, think of it like this. Picture all the Clubs in a State as nations, then the COC in that state is like the U.N., just with a lot more power. There is also a national level COC but usually each state COC does it's own thing.

Like I said I have no clue and I'm not going to ask it's nomb. I can speculate but there's no point in it. I think it was not very smart but who knows, they had a reason I'm sure.

I'm sure someone had a reason to schedule the meeting there. One more thing that is odd and does not seem to fit the more I think about it is that there's been a long standing unspoken rule that if you've got a beef with someone, especially another club, you don't air that out in the public eye. But yet according to the media, that's what supposedly happened here. They're a lot that just does not add up here.

There were non bikers in the strip mall (Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Don Carlos etc) but nobody in Twin Peaks can say they didn't know what was going on. The place was wall to wall bikers and Waco PD staged outside with uniformed cops. Anyone claiming they just went there for lunch with their family is full of shite.

Sounds like he's made a lot of good decisions in his life.
And if he gets arrested while attending an organizational meeting with known crime syndicates, that would also be the result of of his decision-making.

The shove in the bathroom became a scuffle in the restaurant. When about 30 Bandidos, Cossacks, Scimitars and other bikers spilled into the parking between the Twin peaks and the Don Carlos Mexican restaurant next door, the police were waiting for them. The scuffle became a knife fight and several men were stabbed. When one of the combatants produced a gun the Swat team opened fire with automatic weapons. Multiple sources have told The Aging Rebel that all of the dead were killed by police.

Yeah this I agree with, like I said I'm not a ph but I've been around it all my life and I know a little but I am not dumb/crazy enough to ask about club business.
