I bet these frickers wouldn't poke fun at motorcyle gangs face to face. They'd bow down to them, do what they are told.
No, this is the OT. Most of these guys go out on weekends to find groups of bikers and throw beer in their faces, bitch slap them, then walk away laughing and feeling very cool and edgy about themselves.

but biker groups/gangs are gay as hell, it just screams of kids who were fat and got picked on when they were little, but but but now they're tough!
I don't care for biker gangs, clubs. But they aren't soft as some on those board make them out to be. They'd wreck some shite in a brawl.

I get that. My question is why? If the majority of register motorcycle owners are law abiding citizens, they why are the Feds keeping such close tabs on them? Maybe because the majority of these MC'c are not law abiding citizens and have a history of being lawless thugs
Why? It's simple, and this thread is a good example of what I'm about to say. People tend to lump bikers, especially MC bikers all together. It's guilt not just by association but by appearance. I know you don't like that answer but I've been in this world for over 20 years and I've seen it first hand. It is what it is.

im sure they would.....just because of their numbers and most of them are pretty big tubby guys, but let me go hand pick 15 of my compadres and we'd hold our own
they always just run in packs which gives them a hand up, thats it, there's nothing innate about those type of people that makes them tougher

See, there's another big misconception. Being in a MC is not about being "tough". Too many people nowadays though think that it is. And sadly, many younger guys looking to join an MC think this as well.

Then surely you've seen some illegal activity in the 20 years that you've been in this world? You cant sit here and say what happened in Waco was just a fluke. You cant sit here and honestly say that in your 20 years of being in this world, illegal shite isnt happening and the the majority of MC are law abiding citizens and there are only a few bad MC's that give guys like you a bad name...
How many people have you seen get beat down with a ball peen hammer?

When you and your buddies go out, are you looking for people to scare or beat up? Neither are the vast majority are bikers.

What's MC. I've heard of Hells Angels, Mongrels, Banditos, or whatever. I don't know how many other "bad" ones are out there.

His name is Shifter

can i get an operative definition?
Well there's an old saying we have that if you have to have it explained to you, you won't get it. But here goes anyway.
First and foremost the biker lifestyle is about two things. Freedom & respect.
Freedom to live your life according to your own will and your own terms. That does not mean being a criminal, although many mistakenly think this way.
Respect is also a big part of our world. Respect means you treat others how you want them to treat you. When someone is nice to you, give them the same kindness back and then some. When someone is an a-hole to you, you give them that back and then some (BTW, the later part of that is why I get into pissing matches with some on here). It also means you respect traditional, old school values that this country was founded on.
Just based off you admitting if you're disrespected and treated like an a-hole you have to go 2x HAM a-hole on them, if another MC punked your clique at a Dave & Buster's you wouldn't stand up for the patch?

It's just simpler. Easy way to keep tabs. Bikers all own bikes. So you have a ready made list at your fingertips. Just like greenhouse lamps. Don't know if it's still true, but I'm sure it probably is true. If you own lamps for growing plants. You got a file.
ALL pot growers have a lamp. Not all lamp owners grow pot.
Just this post with "pot, lamp, bikers" in it probably gave me a file.
Darth, the term MC just refers to motorcycle club? Correct? Not initials to something?
But judging by your posts you DID dabble on the sketchy side or know/knew some characters. I can see how lines could get blurred at an event with beer. I will talk to anyone with enough beer in me. Even talk shite in my youth.

I mean, who gives a flying frick what patch you have on? I could give a shite if a Bama fan was eating at LSU campus' Chipotle.
Biker takes what he has on his sleeves a lot more seriously than what some shirt a sports fan wears.

Well we have laws to obey, do that and you wont have trouble.

I dont ride a bike and neither do my friends or family but thats how we like to live life as well as raise my kids.
do I have to wear patches and get a bike to be respected?

I have. Nothing that my club was involved in, but I've seen things. I'm sure you know people who've been involved in illegal activities as well.

This "meting" yesterday involved 5 clubs, really 2 main clubs from what I've heard and the rest were "support" clubs. I don't know the exact numbers for Texas but there are dozens of MCs & RCs that operate in Texas that had nothing to do with the stupidity in Waco yesterday.

One, happened years ago. I didn't know either guy and neither were associated with my club. A fight broke out and one of them pulled out a ball peen hammer and smashed the other dude right in the jaw. It was one of the nastiest things I've ever seen.
What does that have to do with anything? People are shot and or assaulted daily by people who've never even sat on a motorcycle.

Dude, there is an unknown number of MC's all across the nation. I'm sure the number is in the hundreds. There's military vet MC's, police MC's, Christian MC's, family MC's, and yes, there are also 1%er MC's and some (not all though) are involved in criminal activity. And it's this that gives the rest of us a bad reputation.

bullshite. Bikers in general are some of the worst people around. Respect? Like making as much noise as humanly possible with zero regard for other citizens rights to peace and quiet?
Bikers are garbage. Yes, those "weekend warriors" included.
