The hotel has a bar and restaurant but the food ain't all the good and beers are $5. I didn't know I could get stuff delivered. Gonna be clutch come tomorrow. For tonight, hotel bar and food it is with one foreign family who can't speak English and a girl from down the street who couldn't get home from work

I can't take much more of this.
I live in the south for a reason.
A week of below freezing temps is about to do my head in.
Our pool is frozen solid. Luckily we drained the pipes and the pump but now my husband is worried that the water being frozen this long has or will eventually tear the liner. Our home warranty covers everything to do with the pool EXCEPT the liner.
I put off taking down the outside Christmas decorations till this weekend because we did a late Christmas with our in laws and it's been so cold I couldn't bear doing it. I finally gave in today so we wouldn't look like white trash who can't be bothered to take our Christmas down.

Well it's about to moderate some. The big high out of Canada that started all this was unusually strong, so we got an usually cold and long winter blast. Beats the nor'easter hitting New England.

Of course it hit this morning, the Client meeting turned into a teleconference and of course my flight back out got canceled. They gave me options for SUNDAY. In my hotel on Industrial Drive by the airport right now. Living the dream baby.
There's a South Philly wolfhair bar a short walk from my hotel so I'm going to go check that out for dinner

This was from my hotel window this morning in NJ. Doesn't do it justice. It was whipping like crazy. The building is blocking most of it, but you can see what it's like past the end of the hotel. General life advice: New Jersey sucks, try to avoid it if at all possible.
