Lost a Toro in the flood. Might go back to another one, but mine had a Kohler engine. New 32" has a "Toro" engine.

TIA.

He's talking about lawnmowers, for those that didn't know they had acronyms now for lawn-mowers.

you can get great commercial quality value but just be careful, i'm no mechanic so i wouldn't trust my judgement on inspecting something. if it was something outside that flood radius you found... then even less worry.

Looking at Big Dog.

K & D selling 42" with Kohler 22HP for same price as 36" with Kawasaki 15HP. Is Kawasaki engine that much better?

Bad boy mz. I recommend Outdoor Power in Woodville ms. Lower prices and lower taxes. They are well built mowers with all welded decks.

Anyone OT ballers know what a Kubota ZD1011 54" can be had for? Tired of dealing with gas, next mower is going to be a diesel.

Kohler is making a very nice engine. Don't get confused, the Kawasaki FR is not the Kawasaki engine we've come to know and love. Its a price point engine like everyone else has.

The price between the 42" and 36" has little to do with the engine and more to do with the fact that it cost about the same money to build both but they sell 1000 42's for every 36" they sale.

Grasshopper. I'm sure they will finance one with less than $3000 down.

Unless that Toro was 10 years old, you should be able to get it running again. My father in law and my cousin both had 50" toro timecutters with the 23HP Kawasaki. They were both able to drain the oil and gas, change filters, and get them running again. My cousin did end up having to change the brake control module about a week later but no other issues since then.
